Due to the influence of storm No. 12, the North East Sea area (including Hoang Sa special zone) has strong winds of level 7-8; the area near the storm's eye has strong winds of level 9-11, gusting to level 13; waves are 3.0-5.0m high, the area near the storm's eye is 5.0-7.0m high. The sea is very rough.

Due to the influence of the storm and cold air combined with East wind disturbances and East wind after the storm, from the night of October 22 to October 27, in localities of Da Nang city, there is a possibility of widespread heavy rain.

Total rainfall for the entire period is generally 350-600mm, in some places over 800mm. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Warning from October 23 to October 28, on rivers in Da Nang city, there is a possibility of a flood. The flood peak on rivers fluctuates from alert level 2 to alert level 3, some rivers above alert level 3.
