Trekking Pa Thien – Voi Mep | Journey to conquer the “roof” of Quang Tri

Pa Thien – “the mountain of heaven”, and Voi Mep – a mountain range shaped like a giant elephant resting in the middle of the majestic Truong Son mountain range.

The 9km journey through the old forest, over steep slopes, wading through cold streams, my legs were tired but my heart was excited. 🌳
Because after each turn is a new patch of forest opening up, after each stop is the laughter of your companions, or just a ray of sunlight through the leaves is enough to make you forget your fatigue.

And when standing on the top of Voi Mep - where the sea of clouds swirls right below, the sunlight dyes the entire Truong Son region pink, all the hardships disappear.
Only the feeling of being small in the middle of nature, and a strange freedom remains. ☀️
